VIDEO: The Final Preparations

With final tests on our electrical systems and machinery motors, new signage, last licks of paint, visits from journalists and camera crews, it’s been a hectic week at Tower Mill.

And now we’re ready to put bales of cotton through the bale plucker for the first time on Monday.

In the footage we filmed this week, you can see some of the activity underway.

We’ve been testing the machinery motors, balancing the air conditioning fans, the fibre transportation systems and finishing-off painting walls and floors.

New signage is being put in place outside the mill.

And yellow lines have been painted on the platform in front of the bale plucker, where bales will be lined-up next week.
