VIDEO: A Completed Ground Floor

We’ve given you lots of updates on the progress on the ground floor and we’re still a few weeks from completion, but perhaps now it’s time to show you what it will look like when it’s complete.

This video takes you on the same journey the cotton will embark on when we finally go into production, from the automatic bale opener to the carding machines, before it goes upstairs to continue the cotton-making process.

The 3D animation really shows the scale of the machinery. Our historic mill is built like a warren with lots of bends and big rooms leading to other big rooms and just a few weeks ago, it seemed like there was vast amounts of space, but now it’s quickly filling up with modern technology.
